The Co-op Board

Left to right, the Blue Hill Co-op Board: Chip Angell,

Ruth Sullivan, Mia Strong, Heather Morrison, Scott

Howell, Retta Clews, and Becky McCall

Co-op members are called owners, since each person owns a share in the Co-op. Ultimately, you will have an investment of $200 in this cooperative. You will be able to participate in meetings and speak out on policy and issues affecting the cooperative. Beyond the group of people buying together at the store, owners are also linked to one another in other ways and the potential of a cooperative is large, especially in the face of challenging times. Our connection to one another is incredibly important.

Here you can give us direct and immediate feedback, Figure out how to contact board and staff and how to participate in events and meetings. If you're just getting interested in the Co-op you, can download a pdf application or to fill out an application to become an owner (member), or discover other ways to connect and communicate with others in the Cooperative.

New owners can check out the New Owner information page. Be sure and check out the Owner Orientation Tours — offered twice a month. Check out the schedule and call to claim a spot in the next one. They're fun as well as informative, and you can come along just for the joy of learning even more about the Co-op.

There is all kinds of essential information for Co-op Members here on the site. Minutes of board meetings, bylaws, ends policies and more are just a click away.

Note that events and meetings are listed in our calendar. The next Board meeting is on Tuesday, April 28in The Howard Room of the Blue Hill Library. Generally, the board meets the third Tuesday of the month.
