Chris is the Co-op's receiver. That means that whenever a delivery comes in, Chris signs for it and figures out where to put it so it can go onto the shelves. It takes a lot of good energy to inspire the back room full of good things for the shelves and a bunch of busy workers. John Broeksmit can probably claim to have worn more brooms down to the bristle stubs than any other Co-op staff member, past of present. He takes care of so many jobs -- a stalwart cashier as well as stock person and night closer. Don't underestimate how extensive John's knowledge of the Co-op is -- just ask him! |

Robin Byrne and Linda Phillips, as the Co-Managers of the Café, share a passion for good food and cooperation in small work spaces. The Café turns out hundreds of lunches and specialty foods each day, celebrating the goodness that comes with organic, local ingredients combined with quality preparation and great care.
